What is PRSSA:

PRSSA was first founded in 1968 by the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America). In that same year the WVU chapter of PRSSA was founded. The declared purpose of PRSSA is to cultivate a favorable and mutually advantageous relationship between students and professional public relations practitioners.

We Aim to:

Understand current theories and procedures of the profession. Appreciate the highest ethical ideals and principles.

One of the Founding Chapters!

We are one of the first founded on April 4, 1968, along with nine other schools who met the chapter requirements.
